Well here is another mind bender ...
Prove that
Sinx
Limit ------- = 6
n->0 n
Easy ... consider the left hand side ...
Cancel n from numerator and denominator (whatever made you think the numerator was sin(x)??) ... that leaves on the Left Hand Side
Limit Si x
n->0
i.e.
Limit 6
n->0
and that is equal to 6
which is equal to the right hand side Q.E.D
P.S. Many an Indian freshman engineering/math student has been thrown this "problem" during hazing.
